Like William Howard Taft, Harry Truman, Lyndon Johnson, Gerald Ford, Jimmy Carter and
George H. W. Bush, President Biden will, if he decides to run again, face a challenge in the Democratic primaries. Biden won't get a pass. And should he survive those primaries, as some of those presidents did, Biden would be the favorite to lose in 2024. For none of those presidents won reelection. It may be time to consider a retirement announcement.
