Tennessee Rep. Andy Ogles introduced a bill that would prohibit Special Counsel Jack Smith

from receiving a federal salary funded by taxpayers. Jack Smith was appointed by A.G. Merrick Garland last November to serve as the Special Counsel overseeing the DOJ’s criminal investigation into former President Donald Trump. Ogles’ bill, Yanking Outlays for an Unethical, Ruthless Enterprise that Fraudulently Impedes Robust Electoral Debate (YOU’RE FIRED) Act, is co-sponsored by Reps. Alex Mooney and Eli Crane.
