Ronna McDaniel said she will resign from her position as Republican National Committee

chair days after Super Tuesday. “The RNC has historically undergone change once we have a nominee and it has always been my intention to honor that tradition,” McDaniel said in her resignation announcement, ABC News reported Monday. “I remain committed to winning back the White House and electing Republicans up and down the ballot in November.” With Super Tuesday scheduled for March 5, just over a week away, her resignation will be effective March 8.
