Sen. Rand Paul confirmed former Director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious
Diseases Anthony Fauci is receiving government-funded security detail despite his alleged retirement. Paul said HHS admitted that the United States Marshals Service is paying for Fauci’s security detail but that HHS is reimbursing it. “The only retired official I know of that gets this kind of treatment is a former president. So, I have no idea why this bureaucrat still has a limo driver, security detail,” Senator Paul said.
