Conservative pundits like Ben Shapiro quickly responded by noting that her philosophy was the epitome of communism. “There’s a big difference between ‘equality’ and ‘equity,’” Harris argues in a Twitter video she posted on November 1, 2020. Sen. Harris said that it’s not enough to simply give everyone “the same amount” – equity dictates that everyone should “end up in the same place.”
