Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg’s letter to Congress calling out the Biden-Harris administration’s

censorship regime shows that White House officials pushed to control the narrative about COVID-19 and political speech across major social media platforms, including Facebook, YouTube, Twitter and Amazon. Social media executives at Facebook and others fought the censorship demands and, by early 2021, expressed frustration and anger about Biden’s “pressure” to block and demote content related to COVID-19 vaccines and its origins.
