Lara Trump officially launches bid for RNC co-chair

Former President Donald Trump’s daughter-in-law formally threw her hat into the ring at the

Republican National Committee. Lara Trump announced Tuesday on X that she wants to be the RNC’s co-chair. “I’m excited to officially announce my candidacy for co-chair of the RNC. I promise you that I will be laser-focused on election integrity, voter turn out, and ensuring every dollar spent goes towards winning!” she wrote. In her X post, Mrs. Trump also endorsed Michael Whatley in his bid to replace Mrs. McDaniel as chair.
