Georgia Election Interference Case Against Trump ‘Dead in the Water’ After Appeals Court Disqualifies Fani Willis

The election interference case against President-elect Donald Trump in Georgia is “dead in

the water” after a state court of appeals disqualified Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis and her team from prosecuting him. The entire criminal conspiracy indictment was not dismissed Thursday, but Willis and her office now have “no authority to proceed” due to a “significant appearance of impropriety caused by the conduct of a public prosecutor.” The process for replacing Willis would be too difficult to keep it going.
