The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) announced this week that it has finished its

third consecutive month without catching and releasing a single illegal migrant at the border. The achievement comes after Border Patrol encounters in July fell to 24,630, setting a record low for the second consecutive month after border encounters in June saw a record low with 25,243 encounters. Border Patrol also recorded just 4,601 arrests along the southern border last month. “History made, again. The numbers don’t lie", said Kristi Noem.
