In the U.S. House of Representatives this 791-page power-grab bill is H.R. 1, and in the U.S. Senate it has been introduced as S. 1.

 

H.R. 1 passed in the House and the battle will now be in the U.S. Senate.

 

Use the talking points below to contact your Senators today and demand they oppose this power-grab bill.

 

If your Senators are Democrats, let them know you WILL hold them accountable in their next election for their vote on this naked power grab and you WILL tell your family and friends what they are doing.

 

If your Senators are Republicans, urge them to take an active role in committee and on the floor of Congress to oppose this unfair un-American law.  And urge your Republican Senators to filibuster on S. 1 when it comes up in the Senate.

S.1: The New Democrats’ Power-Grab to Turn  
                             America into a One-Party Socialist Dictatorship

 

Americans are fair-minded people.

​

S. 1 it will stack the deck in favor of the radical New Democrats and conservatives/Republicans will never again win a national election or the Presidency, the House of Representatives, or Senate.

​

S. 1 would fund federal candidate political campaigns with tax dollars, silence advocacy groups and nonprofits, restrict and even stop political speech, and expand the Federal Election Commission’s power to control political debate through the creation of a “Speech Czar” chosen by the President.

​

S. 1 reveals how this un-American power-grab Nancy Pelosi and the New Democrats unanimously support would nationalize elections and take away the rights of states to make their own election laws and give the power to the politicians in Washington, D.C.

​

Here are some of the more dangerous and evil provisions of S. 1 that will assure the Democrats keep power forever:

​

1. Makes it illegal to request a photo ID to Vote.  

2. No identification is needed to register to vote.

3. Requires all states to adopt a California-style Ballot Harvesting program which allows anyone to collect and drop off ballets at drop boxes or polling locations, even hundreds from nursing homes, apartments, and retirement communities.

4. Takes from the states and gives to the Washington, D.C. politicians (Democrats) the means and methods of how voting can be conducted.

5. Welfare for politicians.  All donations received by a candidate will be matched 600% by taxpayers up to $200 per donation.

6. More Welfare for politicians.   H.R. 1 and S. 1 will allow all federal candidates to receive a salary out of their campaign funds...those same campaign funds that would now be funded with your taxes.

7. Most states prohibit convicted felons from voting, this bill would override any states’ decision and allow felons to vote.

8. Allows same-day voter registration and voting, making it impossible for election officials to have enough time to verify the accuracy of legitimate voter registration.

9. State election officials will be prohibited from challenging absentee ballots even if they come from outside of their assigned precinct, district, or state.

10. No longer requires ballots that are mailed to have signatures checked.

11. Strips the authority of states to remove people from voter rolls who have died or moved out of state and gives that authority to a Washington, D.C. committee appointed by the ruling (Democrat) party.

12. Takes away the power of the states to redraw Congressional Districts and gives it to a federal government committee controlled by the ruling (Democrat) party in Washington, D.C.

13. All non-profits must publish the names of their top donors when they run political ads (print, digital, TV, radio).  Democrats are using the information that a person who supported Donald Trump or conservative organizations or causes to be fired and blacklisted so they can never work for a public corporation, or in Hollywood, or for a college or in the media ever again.

14. Weaponizes the Federal Election Commission (FEC) by giving it unchecked powers to regulate, fine, and stop non-profits from publishing political speech if it deems they have coordinated with any other political campaign.

15. Requires new and burdensome reporting with the FEC for all non-profits that sponsor political ads that “promotes,” “attacks,” “supports,” or “opposes” candidates or elected officials.

16. The FEC Chairman would now be the official “Speech Czar” with unchecked powers to regulate and fine all non-profit speech that uses the words “promote,” “attack,” “support,” or “oppose.”

17. Creates a government-run database that will publish the names and address of all donors who give to any non-profit organization in America.  This puts millions of Americans who support organizations the anti-God, violent Left opposes in jeopardy by placing their livelihood and family at risk of significant physical and material harm, harassment, and bullying.

18. Automatically registers to vote and sends out ballots to all “individuals” (citizens and illegals) whose names and addresses appear in any state and federal government databases (includes DMV, state departments of education, the Social Security Administration, hunting licenses and fishing licenses, Medicare and Medicaid, and many more).  Meaning if your name appears as J0hn Doe on one record, another record as J. Doe, and J. R. Doe or John R. Doe you’ll get four ballots and able to vote four time and it will be illegal to challenge the votes.

19. Requires all states to set out unsecured ballot collection boxes at least 45 days before an election.  These boxes are typically placed in heavily Democrat strongholds like inner city neighborhoods.

20. Makes it a crime to reject any voter registration application, even when it is challenged by an election official.

21. Makes it a crime for anyone who challenges, questions, hinders, or interferes with someone from voting or from registering to vote.  The penalty is up to a $100,000 fine and 5 years in prison. 

22. Attacks our First Amendment Free Speech rights by making the voter interference provision so vague that any video, digital ad, mailing, e-mail or political flyer can now qualify as interfering with someone’s voting rights.  This crime would carry with it a financial penalty and possible jail time.

23. Forces states to give mail-in ballots to all American Indians living on tribal lands without requiring them to request a ballot or to provide their address.

24. Mandates states to offer Internet voter registration with no address or signature verification required.

25. Allows 16-year-olds to register to vote, even though they cannot legally vote until age 18, however, the bill makes it illegal for a non-election official to challenge anyone’s eligibility to vote on election day, registering 16 and 17-year-olds effectively ensures that many will vote (because their age is not required to be checked at the polling place and no one can challenge their eligibility). 

26. Designates all universities and colleges as official voter registration agencies and requires each to designate a “Campus Vote Coordinator.”
    (81% of college students polled in 2020 preferred Biden over Trump: The Knight Foundation).

27. Many states require a valid reason to receive an absentee ballot.  This bill mandates that voters no longer need a reason for states to send out absentee ballots.

28. Requires states to accept mail-in ballots that are postmarked on or before election day but are received up to 10 days after the election.

29. Nationally mandates all states have 15 consecutive days of early in-person voting prior to election day, with each location open at least 10 hours a day.

30. Creates financial burdens for all states by requiring them to pay for return postage for mail-in/absentee ballots, as well as voter registration applications, and applications for an absentee ballot.

31. No penalties will apply for non-citizens who vote while going through the naturalization process but before they are citizens.

32. Encourages voter fraud by prohibiting criminal prosecution of non-citizens for voting if they were automatically registered or consented to automatic registration and voted.

33. Makes it exceedingly difficult to challenge voter fraud in court by limiting access to only one federal court in Washington, D.C.

34. Welfare for states.  Gives free money to states that they can use any why they see fit.  States would receive taxpayer funds at a rate of $150,000 for each House member the state has.  So, Nebraska, for example, will get 150,000 x 5= $750,000 while California will get 150,000 x 55= $8.25M in taxpayer funds.  Thus, this project will cost taxpayers $65,250,000 (435 House reps x 150k each).

35. Increase the Democrat’s majority in the U.S. Senate and House.  The bill would make Washington, D.C. a state thereby immediately adding two liberal Democrat U.S. Senators and one House member.

36. Sets the groundwork for further increasing the Democrat majority in the U.S. Senate and House by creating a task force to increase voting in U.S. Territories and possibly grant statehood.  (Puerto Rico, Guam U.S. Virgin Islands, and Saipan)

37. Damages our economy by eliminating the “Safe Harbor” clause that allows vendors (printers, marketing agencies, etc.) to have multiple political advocacy clients.  That means the bill will limit one political advocacy client per vendor.  A vendor with more than one advocacy client would face fines, imprisonment, and a ban on future political speech.  (A marketing company with 20 advocacy non-profits would have to fire 19 of its clients or a printing company can only print for one political client.)

38. Any person or non-profit that republishes a candidate’s or political committee’s campaign materials face hefty fines and possible jail time.

​

S. 1 are not fair. They are un-American. 

​

In short, the main goal of S. 1 is to use the existing narrow Democrat majority to immediately consolidate and expand their power, so they never lose control of the federal government again.

​

This law will be used as a weapon to punish the 75 million Americans who disagree with the New Democrats’ radical, mean, and evil agenda.

​

If passed into law, S. 1 will limit and severely restrict any political opposition to a one-party dictatorship.  

​

Any lawmaker who votes for this bill is in clear violation of their oath of office. 

It will crush all critical political speech on the issues and keep Democrats in power forever.

​

Voters must create a firestorm of support against this proposed law and at every turn hound the Democrats to oppose it or face voter outrage on election day.

​

Sample Phone Script or letter to use when calling or writing Senate Democrats to urge they oppose the unfair and un-American S. 1:
 

American soldiers have died for our freedom, democracy, and sense of fairness, not for a one-party dictatorship!  Although you’re a Democrat, this is one time to put country ahead of party.

This bill, S. 1, subsidizes the speech of politicians with my tax dollars and limits speech by Americans. That’s bad for the First Amendment and bad for our democracy.
