Everyone agrees that there is no place for political violence or rhetoric in our public discourse.
Yet, Democrat Party leaders are silent about violent remarks and past references to murdering opponents by fellow Democrat politicians in key Virginia races.
Such remarks should disqualify candidates to hold public office.
As the top Democrat Leaders in Congress, I call on you to publicly denounce the death threat remarks made by Jay Jones and call for his withdrawal as the Democrat candidate for Attorney General for the Commonwealth of Virginia.
Likewise, the Democrat candidate for Governor in Virginia, Abigail Spanberger’s violence-filled comments and her continued endorsement of Jay Jones have not been called out or admonished by Democrat Party leaders.
I urge you to do the right thing and openly condemn both Democrat candidates for their vile and dangerous violent comments.
