Push Back On 'Pride': Middle Schoolers Reject Rainbow For Red, White & Blue

On June 2 students at Marshall Simonds Middle School in Burlington, MA organized a protest

against the school’s approved “Spirit Day” for pride month. According to the Daily Wire students wore red, white and blue clothing and chanted “U.S.A are my pronouns” while ripping down pride banners and stickers throughout the school. Burlington Equity Coalition co-Chair Nancy Bonassera called the protest, “display of intolerance and homophobia” during a town meeting while urging the town's leadership to “take an active stand against hate under the guise of ‘free expression’”.
