Trump Says He Has a Letter Proving Pelosi Turned Down Offer of 10K Troops to Protect Capitol on J6

Rep. Nancy Pelosi claimed that former Pres. Donald Trump is lying when he says he offered

10,000 National Guard troops to protect the Capitol three days before the January 6, 2021 riot – but, on the same day, Trump said he has a letter proving she did. On NBC’s "Meet the Press," Trump told moderator Kristen Welker that that he had offered Pelosi troops three days before January 6, but Pelosi rejected them. Trump then said that he has a letter from Democrat D.C. Mayor Muriel Bowser telling him Pelosi rejected the troops.
