The Americans Joe Biden Left Behind


During the evacuation, the U.S. State Dept said that the evacuations of citizens and of

green-card holders were both top priorities, although green-card holders quickly disappeared from administration statements and updated statistics. Many green card holders are Afghan-Americans who went back to see relatives. It’s not hard to find people who are quick to sneer that U.S. citizens and green-card holders should have left earlier.
