Rasmussen: More Americans Now Say US Is On the 'Right Track,' Breaking a 20-Year Streak of Pessimism

A new Rasmussen poll has found more Americans say the country is heading in the “right

direction” breaking a 20-year streak in which Americans had generally reported feeling that the country was going downhill. According to Rasmussen, 47% now say they believe the United States is going in the “right direction,” compared to 46% that said the nation is on the “wrong track.” This marks the first time in two decades that the percentage of Americans who reported feeling positive about the direction of the country outnumbered those who did not.
