Mollie Hemingway said the Democrats' branding the GOP as racist will backfire. "It is actually

really stupid that they thought that demographic change would harm the Republican party... Right now, the Republican Party is a multiracial working-class party. It has made tremendous gains in recent years with a wide variety of Americans of different ethnicities and economic classes, because it is creating policies that are appealing to those people."
