CNN and CBS polls show strong approval of President Donald Trump’s address to Congress

Wednesday among those who watched the speech. The CBS/YouGov poll of speech watchers found that fully three-fourths (76%) approve of Trump’s speech, including 58% who “strongly approve.” Regarding the content of the president’s speech, 63% say Trump spent “a lot of time” on issues they care about. Viewer reactions to the president’s speech were largely positive.
