Anti-Life Political Action Committee Launches Campaign to Enshrine Abortion in Arizona Constitution

Anti-life groups promoting abortion-on-demand in Arizona announced they will seek to

amend the state’s constitution to enshrine a right to abortion in the wake of the U.S. Supreme Court’s decision last year to overturn Roe v. Wade. Arizona for Abortion Access filed to collect signatures to get the Arizona Abortion Access Act on the ballot in 2024. Cathi Herrod, president of the Center for Arizona Policy Action, predicted voters are not likely to approve the proposed constitutional amendment.
