Donald Trump’s Twitter account will be reactivated following a poll of the social media
platform’s users on the matter, Twitter’s owner Elon Musk announced on Nov. 19. “The people have spoken. Trump will be reinstated. Vox Populi, Vox Dei,” Musk said in a post linking to the polling decision, using a Latin phrase meaning “the voice of the people, the voice of God.” 51.8 percent of users wanted Trump reinstated, 48.2 percent against.
