Media Alarmism Is the Real Threat to Democracy

It has now become all but impossible to find a major media news outlet that doesn’t feature

at least one apocalyptic opinion piece warning us that democracy is under attack by the diabolical GOP and its sinister leader Donald Trump. These people don’t give a damn about democracy, and that what they really care about – like everyone else in Washington – is power. That makes their alarmist fictions very dangerous indeed.
