Encounters With Chinese Illegal Aliens Up 826% At the Southwest Border

There’s been an increase of more than 820% of illegal aliens from China coming across the

Southwest U.S. border in the past fiscal year, in numbers that blow previous years completely out of the water. U.S. Customs and Border Protection data shows that border agents encountered 17,984 Chinese migrants between October 1, 2022 and July 31, 2023. Comparitively, only 2,176 Chinese migrants were apprehended at the border during all of fiscal year 2022, marking an increase of about 826% year-over-year.
