To all House and Senate Republican Members of Congress,
It's time for conservatives to stand together in support of Senator Rand Paul’s (R-KY) call to fully instigate Dr. Anthony Fauci for lying to Congress.
There is a growing list of evidence that Dr. Fauci may have lied to Congress about U.S. taxpayer dollars going to the Wuhan lab in China to conduct “gain of function” research that many believe resulted in the spread of a worldwide pandemic according to newly released documents by The Intercept.
With some 4 million people worldwide including over 600,000 American lives lost to COVID-19, I urge you to support a full investigation into Dr. Fauci’s testimony before Congress and his behaviors and statements that now appear to directly oppose the interests of the American people.
Whereas Dr. Fauci funneled taxpayer dollars to the Wuhan Institute of Virology, which is under suspicion for creating the COVID-19 virus,
Whereas Fauci has hidden the results of his own institute that show the effectiveness of hydroxychloroquine (HCQ) to treat COVID-19, which costs the lives of many Americans, according to Dr. Harvey Risch, M.D., Ph.D., dean of Yale School of Public Health,
Whereas on May 11th of this year, Fauci stated that the NIH has not ever and does not now fund gain of function research in the Wuhan Institute of Virology. And yet, gain of function research was done entirely in the Wuhan Institute [of Virology] and it was funded by American taxpayer dollars from the NIH according to the lab’s top scientist Dr. Shi Zengli,
Whereas Senator Paul cited Dr. Richard Ebright, a molecular biologist from Rutgers University, who according to Paul said “the Wuhan lab used NIH funding to construct novel chimeric SARS related to coronaviruses able to infect human cells and laboratory animals. This is high risk research that creates new potential pandemic pathogens… that exist only in the lab, not in nature,”
Whereas Senator Paul made the announcement on Fox News, telling talk show host Sean Hannity, “I will be sending a letter to the Department of Justice asking for a criminal referral because he has lied to Congress,”
Therefore, the American people have a right to know if Dr. Fauci lied to Congress and the American people and knowingly allowed U.S. taxpayer money fund the worldwide COVID-19 pandemic. I, the undersign, urge you and every other Republican Member of Congress to join together on the steps of the U.S. Capitol and demand the Justice Department immediately launch a full investigation into the COVID-19 statements and actions by Dr. Fauci.
